By car from the East (A1) - follow the A1 round to the north of Edinburgh. When the dual carriageway ends continue ahead along the A199 towards Leith, at the next roundabout take the first exit left into A1140 Portobello Rd. Continue ahead along A1 London Rd following signs for the City Centre and Princes St. When you reach Princes St, turn left onto North Bridge, cross the railway you will find the hotel on your left. From the South/West - follow the A720 Edinburgh bypass to the south of the city, then take the A701 Burdlehouse Rd for the City Centre. Continue ahead along Howden Hall Rd and Liberton Gardens. At the roundabout bear left onto Craigmillar Park, follow signs for Waveley Station & continue straight ahead along the Mayfield Gardens, then Minto St, Newington Rd, A7 South Clerk St, Nicolson St and then North Bridge where you will find the hotel on your right. By Train - the hotel is ¾ mile from Edinburgh Waverley station, 5 minutes by taxi. On foot leave the station by the main Waverley Bridge exit and turn left. Continue ahead up Cockburn St, at the end turn left into High St to North Bridge where you will find the hotel on the opposite side of the road. |
