FROM WEST & AIRPORT: Travelling east from M8, take A8 keeping to right hand lane. This takes you through the underpass. Go straight & follow signs for City Centre for approx 4.5 miles. You will see Caledonian Hotel on right hand side & House of Frazer & Ryan's Bar on left. This is beginning of Princes Street and is restricted to public transport, meaning you cant drive through Princes Street. Turn right at Caledonian Hotel onto Lothian Road & take 1st left onto King Stables Road. Drive to the end of this road, taking you to Grassmarket. Turn left & drive for approx 200 metres. Take 1st left, Victoria Street & drive to top. Turn right & drive approx 200 metres & turn first left onto Chambers Street. Drive to bottom & turn right. Drive approx 200 metres until you reach Festival Theatre. Turn left onto Hill Place. Hotel is on right at the bottom. FROM NORTH: After Forth Road Bridge follow signs for the City Centre- approx 8 miles. Turn left onto Randolph Crescent & 1st left onto Great Stuart Street. This road takes you onto Queen Street. Drive to end of Queen Street until you come to roundabout. Take 2nd exit. Drive to top & keep in left hand lane. Follow traffic in this lane to take you onto North Bridge. Drive for 0.5 mile until you get to the Festival Theatre. As per above. FROM SOUTH: Follow A1, you will arrive in city centre. Come to roundabout on Leith Walk where you turn left. Drive to next roundabout, go straight on. Drive to top and keep in left hand lane. As per above.
